 Fun, but wont last forever Jan 22, 2011

We do pajama dance parties with our kids and I thought this would be a fun addition. It works well if you are pretty much in front of it (which is fine for us.) However, The box says that you need to have an electrician change the bulb. That pretty much means this will end up in the trash when it burns out. I'd be curious as to how long that will be!

My daughter wanted a strobe light to make it look like she was moving in slow motion. This one totally failed for that application. The strobe pulses were too slow to allow this effect, even when the speed dial on the light was at max. So... it definitely functioned as a strobe light, but it was not what we wanted or were looking for.
