My 6 yr old daughter SWEARS that monsters live in her closet so therefore she cannot sleep in her bed. My answer - a magic pink glitter lamp. This works like a charm! The monsters are so scared of the pink sparkly light that they stay away. The only complaint I have heard is that the sparkles to not "dance" on the wall but the room has a soft pink glow so it's ok. Anyway, my daughter is back in her bed. The monsters are gone. 5 stars!!

We got this b/c my 3yr old daughter was afraid of the 'monsters' in her room. A night-light wasn't quite bright enough and this lets off a perfect pink glow. I told her that monsters are afraid of glitter and that this was her magic lamp to keep them away and she's slept through the night since day 1 with this lamp! It gets a little warm so be sure to shut it off first thing in the morning. Other than that. AWESOME BUY!!!!

This unit comes in 3 pieces, the top silver part, the glass body and the base. It'd be better if it was all one piece. It gets extremely hot once you've had it on for a while. The glitter is really pretty. I just didn't feel as though it was worth the price so I sent it back.

This lamp is not too bright so it makes a wonderful night light for our baby girl. She loves to watch the glitter float around and it puts off just enough light so that we can check on her throughout the night.
