When the lamp arrived the water was really foggy and it didnt clear up at all. I tried everything to make it clear but it didnt work. The rainbow effect isnt as fun as i thought it would be, I also found out that i can get the same lamp for cheaper at target, and probably not as cloudy.

The rainbow lava lamp is not a good looking lamp. Do not buy this lamp it is very poorly designed it looks spray painted and you can barely see the lava flow inside. Its obvious even to a rookie lava lamp lover that this lamp does not look good up close or far away. Please buy a different style or color this one doesnt work or look good in any way, Sorry.

Not a Rainbow Lava Lamp May 15, 2010
This Lava Lamp has painted glass that sort of looks like a rainbow until you turn it on. The lights make it look more of a yellowish blue with the red at the top. It is definitely not a rainbow. So, if you want a different lava lamp, it is a good option. If you are looking for a rainbow lava lamp, this is not it.

This lamp does not have colored lava. The glass is spray painted and only the red is dark/dense enough to be visible. I don't see the green and blue color on my lamp. It still looks cool though. It is white lava in clear fluid.

This multi-colored lava lamp does NOT look like the image shown on amazon.com. The colors shown on amazon.com are a vivid green, blue, and red with white lava. Once I plugged this electric multi-colored lava lamp in at home and the lava started flowing the actual colors from a distance are 3/4 green and 1/4 red with clear lava. You have to look really close at the lava lamp to see the middle color which is blue. I'm disappointed with this lava lamp but I don't plan to return it due to the extra cost involved.
