This 52 oz Lamp just arrived 8 hours ago. Everything is woking perfectly. This is my third Lava Lamp, First one purchased thru Amazon.com. But I have purchased two others over the years. This is my first of this larger size. This is the real brand name product and not built by another company as some have said here in their reviews. It looks just like all my other lava lamps did and actually operates slightly faster than my old ones. I think it's the bigger bulb and wattage that helps this one. It's no more cloudy than the other two I owned and have experienced no problems. This is the White lava / Blue lamp model and it's my fav. Had a black lava with clear lamp but liked this one much better. My original was also this color but the smaller size with the exact same clarity. I have never experienced a very cloudy lamp as others have here. If you are having trouble with your lamp you should check out lava lamps web site. They have a trouble shooting section you can check out to help you. I have read on their site that a very cloudy lamp can't be fixed though. They also have some more colors not available at Amazon.com. Hope this review helps some of you.

I have an update on my lava lamp. Lamp did run slightly hot so I switched to a 30 watt A15 bulb. Lamp can then be ran for the recommended 10 hours with very little lava staying at the top. If your still having trouble try experimenting with a 25 watt A15 bulb but go no lower than that or the lava will never get warm enough to flow. Also remember the lower the wattage the longer your lava lamp will take to get flowing. Mine takes about 2 hours to warm up with the 30 watt A15 bulb. These bulbs can be bought off of Amazon's web site and others. Simply Google 30 Watt A15 bulb to find all your buying options. Lamp still looks and works great in case your wondering.

The lava did not melt very well and it was hard to see the white lava through the blue liquid.

When your step mother walks into your man cave and complains that your lava lamp is waisting energy because it is not working as it should, then you got a problem. I personally believe this company is trying to profit off the new "wesession wax" by applying it rather then the wax that actually dose somthing... yeah. Move on, nothing to see here...

Didn't work for long Jun 08, 2009
This product worked wonderfully for 1 week. Then it stopped working, the wax would just float at the top. Sending it back cost me a $5 restocking charge, plus another $9 for shipping and handling.
